Patrice Latyr Evra was born in Senegal on the 15^th May 1981, Son of a diplomat father he will arrive in Europe when he was 12 month old. Currently playing for France and Manchester United, Evra is an accomplished left wingback. Having played in an attacking role in his early career Evra can be as good forward as he is in a more defensive position.

Patrice Evra was born in Dakar, Senegal and arrived in Europe when he was 12 months old.

When he returned to France with Nice, he played as centre forward but because of injuries to some key players he needed to play in defense.

He was the captain of the French side that was eliminated at the group stage in the 2010 World Cup. He led the players during the protest against Domenech decision of sending Anelka home.
